A Synthesis of Optically Active Key Intermediate for the Synthesis of Optically Active Thromboxanes

Abstract

An optically active key intermediate, methyl 2, 4-dideoxy-4-C-carboxymethylene-α-D-ribo-hexopyranoside 2'→3 lactone (XII), for the syntheses of optically active Thromboxanes was prepared from D-glucose.
