Etude de Quelques Propriétés de l'Aconitase de la Levure Saccharomycopsis lipolytica

Abstract

Kinetic data are given on aconitase (EC 4. 2. 1.3.) of a strain of Saccharomycopsis lipolytica excreting citric acid. Various inhibitors were tested in vitro. Sigmoid inhibition curves (Hill coefficient=4_??_6) were observed with malefic and adipic acids. The effect of the in-hibitors on excretion is discussed.
