The Gene Responsible for Tunicamycin Resistance, tmrB, in Bacillus sub tills

抄録

A 779 bp HindIII fragment of Bacillus subtilis was cloned, which in a multi-copy state renders B. subtilis cells tunicamycin resistant. Its nucleotide sequence was determined and a possible gene product of 197 or 199 amino acids was deduced.
