Abstract

This research note briefly reviews some ideas about how people’s consciousness is associated with effective environmental protection behavior. This extends to culture, history and religion. Global environmental issues involve many complex factors such as economics, politics, humanitarianism, and religion. Furthermore, scientific measurements of the environment on a global scale are technically difficult and the data obtained are not always reliable. Therefore, many debates on global environmental protection are too complex to decide which is true or false. With all this in mind, we need to act as reasonably as calmly as possible without overreacting to the media and the advertising of extreme activists.
