The influence of manurial ingredients upon the hydrogen-ion concentration of the sap of oats flax was determined in two sets of experiments. The results show that phosphoric acid and potash have an effect of raising the hydrogen-ion concentration of the sap, while nitrogen has a tendency to lower it.
