1. The ratio of albumin to globulin the blood of a hematoporphyrin rabbit exposed to the sunlight is considerably diminished. The absolute amount of the globulin content is markedly increased, while the albumin content decreased.
2. The rise in the globulin content of the hematoporphyrin rabbits occurs as a whole parallel to the degree of anemia. It remains, however, still undecided whether the globulin originates from the destruction of erythrocytes or from other substances. The true mechanism of the globulin increase, therefore, has to be explained by further study.
3. The amount of the urobilin content of the urine of the hematoporphyrin rabbit is notably increased.
