We have been trying to evaluate knee joint dysfunction of patients with osteoarthritis objectively, by means of force plate data and knee joint angle during level walk. It is not easy to define the significances of raw waveforms got by these equipements. But it is also true that with a little experience, it is enough to guess the severity of thegonalgia or dysfunction to some extent. From this point of view, we reproted the results of analysis of these raw waveforms by Hayashi's quantication theory 1 and multiple regression analysis and showed its high possibility to predict the clinical evaluation (actual outcome). Here we applied Fuzzy Theory to the same raw waveforms and tried to predict the actual outcome more exactly. We will report the result by Fuzzy Theory in details, comparing those by Hayashi's quantification theory 1 and multiple regression analysis.
