DC Bus Fault Currents for Thyristor Converters

Abstract

Maximum surge current is one of the important ratings of semiconductor rectifiers. We can calculate fault currents by digital computer easily, but can not estimate the line constants for meeting the demand without many calculations. We calculated fault currents on many conditions, and using thies datas, made several curves for maximam surge current's estimation.
