The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between physical fitness and personality of students. The Physical Fitness Test which was standardized by the Department of Education and the Yatabe-Guilford Personality Test were administered to 112 freshman of Kisarazu Technical College. The results could be summarized as follows; (1) The Director type had significantly higher physical fitness than the Colm type and the Escape type. (2) The upper physical fitness group (A.B) had significantly higher general activity, rathymia, and lower inferiority feelings on the Y-G scales than the middle physical fitness group (c). (3) The Director type had significantly higher endurance than the Calm type. The Director type had significantly higher agility than the Escape type. And the Average type had significantly higher flexibility than the Calm type.
