Abstract
In order to obtain evaluation index of fish schooling behavior model for Japanese freshwater fish, experiments with Japanese dace Tribolodon hakonensis were carried out. The Behavior of Japanese dace in a quadrilateral and static water area was recorded on video using camera, which was fixed on a ceiling board and covered the whole water area At intervals 1 second, images were captured from video tape. We defined (1) Fish school radius, (2) Distance between individual, (3) Velocity of fish schooling as evaluation indices.
