Abstract

In general PBL education, a role of excellent tutor is very important, but it is difficult to introduce excellent tutors into our PBL education. From this background, I have adopted mutual peer assessment of cooperative learning in order to activate our PBL. The cooperative learning will lead students to discover various subjects through cooperative self-instructions. The peer assessment will able to make the cooperative self-instructions more active without the tutors. This paper shows the performance of our cooperative PBL utilizing the peer assessments, and then the instructive effects of the adopted assessments are discussed.
