Self-directed faculty development utilizing bulletin of own college

Abstract

The recent trend in education has promoted an increase in the use of active learning techniques which aims at ensuring the genuine quality of students. However, it is difficult for the old faculty development(FD) in our college to improve the active learning educations because of the variety of active learning applications. For the sustainable improvements in education, new college's ability to self-improve by the operation of the PDCA cycle is required. From this background, this paper suggests self-improving educations by active use of bulletin of own college as a teaching portfolio.
