Abstract
The specific surface and the pore-distribution of soils that obtained by nitrogen adsorption method have been studied experimentally. This paper treats the relation of specific surface of soils between sedimentation analysis and B.E.T. method, and on the influence of drying on the specific surface and pore-distribution of Kanto-Loam. The results are as follows; (1) The difference of specific surface between B.E.T. method and sedimentation analysis becomes the greater as the particle of soils becomes smaller in size. (2) Kanto-Loam has micro pore (20 〜 100Å) very much more than other soil. (3) The specific surface and the micro pore of Kanto-Loam increase as drying temperature does.
