A Study on the Post-Tensioned Unboned Prestressed Concrete Beams (The 3rd report)

Abstract

Tests were made of seventeen post-tensioned prestressed concrete T-beams. The primary variables were, the presence or absence of bond; the span/depth ratio of beam; the effective prestress force. On the basis of test results, we considered flexural behavior and ultimate strength of unbonded post-tensioned prestressed concrete T-beams. In this paper we described a method of calculation of flexural strength of unbonded prestressed concrete T-beams. Calculation values agreed well with the experimental results within the limits of this experiments.
