Scopelophila cataractae (Mitt.) Broth. (Pottiaceae, Bryophyta) New to Myanmar

Abstract

Scopelophila cataractae (Mitt.) Broth. is reported from Myanmar for the first time. A morphological description, illustrations, and ecological information based on the Myanmar material are provided. The haplotype network of chloroplast trnT-L-F sequences revealed a unique haplotype in the Myanmar populations, indicating the high genetic diversity of Asian S. cataractae.
