Abstract
The deficit of the solar neutrino flux, called as “solar neutrino problem, ” has been discussed for more than 30 years. The recent observations of solar neutrinos by Super-Kamiokande and SNO have given a clear evidence for neutrino oscillations as the solution of the solar neutrino problem. It was also found that the electron neutrinos are large mixture of different mass eigenstates. In this report, we present the nature of neutrinos and progress in solar neutrino physics based on the results from recent solar neutrino experiments.
