Three juveniles of cymothoid isopods (Crustacea) infecting buccal cavities of three immature specimens of following coastal fishes: Yellowtail clownfish Amphiprion clarkii (Bennett, 1830), Neon damselfish Pomacentrus coelestis Jordan & Starks, 1901, and Nagasaki damsel P. nagasakiensis Tanaka, 1917, respectively, were found from Izu-Ohshima, Sagami sea, Pacific coast of central Japan. These cymothoids could not be identified to species because they have no some important taxonomic characters. However, it is revealed that these cymothoids can be characterized by following features: body shapes, sizes of eyes, posterior margins of cephalon, setations on pereopods, and length of uropodal rami. And yet, an additional morphotype of free-swimming form of cymothoid manca collected from this field are described and illustrated herein.
