The time courses of the phosphorus turnover of the nodular and ascites hepatoma and of the liver were investigated on the inorganic P, acid soluble organic P, lipid P, protein P, RNA-P and DNA-P fractionated by Schmidt-Thannhauser′s method, and on the IP, Co-P, Lab-P and St-P of the ATP and ADP, Pro-P, Ad-A, G-1-P, G-6-P, G-P-A, and P-G-A isolated by Sacks′ method.
The curve for the time course of the r. s. a. of BSIP dropped along the exponential curve C=C1e-k1t1÷C2e-k2t2. The acid soluble organic P and the lipid P of the tumor showed lower turnover than that of the liver, but DNA-P showed somewhat higher.
The turnover of the acid soluble P-compounds of the tumor tissues isolated by Sacks′ method was lower than that of the liver, and ranged in the following order: IP, Lab-P, G-1-P, Co-P, G-6-P, P-G-A, Ad-A, St-P, G-P-A and Pro-P.
The precursor of the phosphate of the Lab-P of ATP and ADP and of G-1-P seemed to be BSIP.
