Abstract
Recently congestion and the influence the ecosystem by overuse are problem in the Natural Park region. The aim of this research is to assess the qualification as a vlsitor and the advance preparation between general visitors and the eco-tour participants at the Jomonsugi-ceder taril in Yakushima island as an ecotourism promotion area. As a result, visitors lack the geographic information, and it has been understood that the safety information and equipment are insufficient and crisis-management shortages.
Moreover, the eco-tour participants did not feel complaint of congestion on the trail road. However, the sore displeasure was shown in the congestion of the rest room. Another aspect of the influence on natural environment showed the sore discomfort in scattering the excrement pollution and garbage. lt is necessary to persist in the risk-management like security and the unpleasant act prevention, etc. by focusing on the guide significant to achieve natural environmental preservation by eco-tourism.
