Abstract
In 1995, the Great Hanshin Awaji Earthquake occurred. Because the transportation on the water worked as a rescue operation at the time, the Metropolis of Tokyo set river station of disaster prevention as a provision for direct earthquake above its epicenter. In this study, we took nine river stations of disaster prevention which central government, Tokyo, and wards set up as an object and we grasp maintenance of barrier-free and barrier of the way from refuge to river station of disaster prevention to obtain assignments for maintenance of river stations of disaster prevention which is easy for disabled people to use during a disaster. As a result, some barriers for wheel chair users to be evacuated to river station of disaster prevention emerged.
