The Current Status on and Challenges to the Implementation of Climate Mitigation Actions in Indonesia

Abstract

This paper aims to identify the potential barriers to implementation of climate mitigation policies and measures in Indonesia. Results from this analysis confirm that the Government of Indonesia is the process of preparing to implement NDCs in Indonesia, and that enhancing coordination among key stakeholders and developing a policy framework for implementing NDCs are key challenges to implementing mitigation actions in Indonesia.
