Abstract
This study explored students’ awareness and participation toward waste segregation at schools where the environmental education program with school eco-centers was implemented. The results of questionnaire survey to Grade 6 students detected that female students' awareness of the program and participation of waste segregation were higher than male students’ ones. Also, students’ awareness and participation of waste segregation were influenced by some factors related their school attributes. It was clarified that the environmental education program with school eco-centers were bringing more positive impact toward students’ waste segregation practice and awareness through involving not only the students but also the parents in the management of school eco-centers.
