Abstract
The aim of the present study was to 1) understand the utilization of the actual situation of the congestion expected calendar, and 2) to investigate the effectiveness and the limitations of the congestion forecast information based on the specific behavior of viewers the calendar at Mt. Fuji. As a result, in participants who browsed the calendar, the select ratio of the ascending day 11th Aug., and the ratio of participants who reached at the summit of Mt. Fuji before sun rise was higher compared to other days and time. These behaviors were considered to avoid congestion. However, the relationship between the calendar viewing and the action selection for climbing was weak, and the effectiveness of congestion expected calendar was limited because of the lower ratio of participants with checking the calendar. It was thought to be necessary generate more information.
