This research aims to examine the spatial composition and features of parks during the Manchukuo period. 12 parks are analyzed by cluster analysis method based on the three basic attributes of terrain, surrounding land, scale, and the four spatial elements of buildings, facilities, water forms, garden paths. Based on analysis results, the parks are classified into three groups. In Group A, the area of parks is mainly 25-60ha. The general shape of these parks is narrow and long, and the arrangement of garden paths is appropriate to the water forms. The area of parks in Group B is 0-25ha, and the building types are richer. The artificially constructed water forms are combined with loop paths. The area of parks in Group C is >60ha (except 1 park). The parks are far from the city center, and the location of all buildings, facilities, garden paths in the parks is affected by mountain topography.
