A Study on Conservation and Use of Beach Space

Abstract

In Japan in recent years, the popularity of visiting the beach has been declining, and the population, in a trend that is expected to continue, has declined about 20% from what it was at its peak. The decrease in the popularity of beaches can be regarded as a problem caused by various environmental factors affecting nature, society, and the economy, and it may also related to a newspaper article with a title that translates from Japanese as " lack of interest in the sea ". Therefore, in this study, we examined the various factors mentioned in the article as the reasons for the decrease in the number of visitors to the beach and targeted each comment written by readers of the article.
