Abstract

The purpose of this study is to clarify the effects of online hands-on nature-based classes, the factors that promote them, and the course components that influence such effects. Accordingly, we held an online nature-based classes, mainly on-demand, for 32 female university students. As a result, it was shown that 1. awareness and feelings toward satochi-satoyama increased, and 2. factors for promoting awareness raising include recognizing senses of benefit, crisis, and effectiveness. Furthermore, it became clear that simulated forest surveys through videos, and actual experiences involving the organizing of issues, crafting, and exercising, are influential components.
