Abstract

Chubu-Sangaku National Park has been implementing the "North Alps Trail Program (tentative)" on a trial basis since 2021. In this study, based on this case study, we conducted a text-mining analysis using free description data collected from user questionnaires in order to grasp what points could be improved in the user burden system, based on opinions spontaneously expressed by users regarding user awareness of the cost burden for maintaining trails in national parks. As a result, a positive evaluation was confirmed for the entire initiative, and opinions on the issues and programs for maintaining the mountain trail could be classified into nine groups. In addition, it became clear that the words that appear differ depending on how well they are aware of the current issues.
