Abstract

The purpose of this study is to investigate the number and height of Platanthera hologlottis, a rare plant growing in wetlands, and to understand the characteristics of their habitat. In particular, we aimed to understand the relationship with the water situation, which is a major environmental factor. The target area is a small-scale wetland commonly found in hills and mountainous areas, suggesting the existence of wetlands other than the target area for which growth has not yet been reported. From the water condition and the growth range of P. hologlottis, it was inferred that the growth environment of P. hologlottis was supplied with a certain amount of water throughout the growth period and the wetland was kept moist.
