Research on Duplicated Damage by Flood Disaster and Support System for Life Recovery

A Case Study of Omachi town SAGA Prefecture

Abstract

This study discusses the issues of damage and evacuation in duplicated flood disaster and the methods of support systems. As a result of the analysis, no clear change was observed in the evacuation behavior of the victims even under multiple disasters. It was also revealed that the victims of the disaster had spent a large amount of money on reconstruction. Information sharing meetings between the government, disaster volunteer centers, and NPOs continued, and support for disaster victims was provided at support bases.
