Abstract

Workation has been gaining traction as a form of regional development, yet previous studies argued that information dissemination concerning its facilities needs to be improved. This study applied the Quantification Method of the Third Type and cluster analysis of the texts introducing the workation facilities listed on the portal website Regional Development Telework. This study aims to investigate the characteristics and issues related to the contents of dissemination in the three aspects of workation: work, leisure, and life. Results indicated that information on local interaction and living was less comprehensive than information on the work environment. Workation facilities should provide more information about the local areas, such as activities unique to the region and life experience programs to ensure successful regional development.
