The Role of Intermediary Organizations in Promoting Renewable Energy Projects

Abstract

In this study, we focused on ”Intermediary Organizations„ as a mechanism for connecting distributed resources with local stakeholders in the true sense of the word in promoting the compatibility of renewable energy projects with local revitalization. Based on case studies, we grasped the actual status of activities and management structures, and considered the specific roles and functions they fulfill. As a result, we clarified that intermediary organizations fulfill three roles: information provision, management, and value co-creation.
