複雑性尿路感染症に対するSisomicinの臨床的検討

Sisomicin 100mg/day for 5 days was applied to 21 patients with complicated urinary tract infections.
Clinical results were “excellent” in 8 (38.1%), “good” in 9 (42.9%) and “poor” in 4 (19.0%) patients, (81.0% “effective” rating).
Eradication of organisms in 10 (47.6%), decrease in 3 (14.3%), persistence in 3 (14.3%) and increased growth in 5 (23.8%) out of 21 strains.
No serious side-effects were noted, except in one patient who reported severe pain at the injection site.
