Details

Dear Colleagues,

On behalf of the Circulation Journal, I would like to report the official 2016 impact factor and the Circulation Journal papers (2014–2015) most frequently quoted in 2016, that substantially contributed to the 2016 impact factor of the Journal.

1. The Official 2016 Impact Factor

I would like to report that Circulation Journal has earned an official 2016 Impact Factor (IF) of 3.544. The official ranking also places Circulation Journal 44th among the 126 journals in the Cardiac & Cardiovascular Systems category in 2016 JCR Science Edition (31st among the 124 journals in 2015). We analyzed that the decrease in the IF this year was due to the reduction of the number of self citation. I would like to ask readers to cite Circulation Journal papers in your future submission of manuscripts to any journals.

2. The Most Frequently Quoted CJ Papers (2014–2015) in 2016

The following papers, published in 2014–2015, were among the top 31 most frequently quoted papers in 2016, thereby substantially contributing to the 2016 Impact Factor of the Journal (number in the parenthesis denoted the number of quotation in 2014–2015).
