Details

Dear Colleagues,

Thank you for visiting the web site of Circulation Reports (Circ Rep). On January 10, 2019, Circ Rep, a sister journal of the Circulation Journal, was launched as an official Journal of the Japanese Circulation Society. During these nearly 6 years, we have had great success publishing many interesting papers not only from Japan but also from all over the world. On March 12, 2021, all papers published in Circ Rep became searchable in PubMed Central®. The editorial team is making every effort to obtain an impact factor for Circ Rep as soon as possible. In July 2024, we are starting a new publishing campaign, which I would like to summarize for you.

Submission Campaign for Medical Staff

The “Circulation Reports Submission Campaign for Medical Staff” will offer half-price publication fees for papers with a first author who is medical staff, and other authors who can have any type of professional credentials. This campaign will cease when 300 papers are published.

Aim and Scope of Circulation Reports

It is a unique feature of Circ Rep that it covers such a wide range of cardiovascular fields, and has published excellent papers in these fields,14 where medical staff often have a pivotal role. Circ Rep considers various types of original research articles, including studies conducted with human subjects or experimental models, as well as high-quality applied clinical, epidemiological, and healthcare policy papers related to cardiovascular and cerebrovascular diseases. Specific content areas of interest are: arrhythmia and electrophysiology, cardiovascular nursing, cardiovascular surgery, congenital heart disease, coronary artery disease, epidemiology, exercise physiology, genetics and translational biology, health services and outcomes research, heart failure, hypertension, imaging, interventional cardiology, molecular cardiology, nutrition, pediatric cardiology, pericardial disease, peripheral vascular disease, preventive cardiology, renal disease, resuscitation science, stroke, transplantation, valvular heart disease, vascular medicine, rehabilitation, obesity, metabolism, medical engineering, medical policy, medical economics, and medical education. The journal also considers the publication of review articles summarizing the present state of knowledge in a particular field.

The 30th Annual Scientific Meeting of the Japanese Association of Cardiac Rehabilitation (JACR)

It is my great honor to have been appointed the congress chairperson of the 30th Annual Scientific Meeting of the Japanese Association of Cardiac Rehabilitation (JACR), which will be held over 2 days from Saturday, July 13th to Sunday, July 14th, 2024, at Kobe International Exhibition Hall and the Kobe International Conference Center. Since the JACR was established in 1995, it has grown massively to over 15,000 regular members. At this historic Annual Meeting, there will be nearly 700 excellent presentations, many by medical staff, and with 7,000 attendees it is another great opportunity to report their wonderful research to the world in English.

Conclusions

The editorial team hope medical staff will take the opportunity of the Submission Campaign to publish their interesting research in English in Circ Rep and look forward to receiving many excellent manuscripts that will assist the Journal in achieving an impact factor very soon.
