In the titration with a titration curve as in Fig. II-1, it is the best to use the 2nd derivative voltage as the triggering signal and the 1st derivative voltage may be used, too. In the titration with a titration curve as in Fig. II-2, the 3rd or the 4th derivative voltages could be used for the automatic titration, but by the above reasons, it is not a good method.
