Abstract

A black market occupied the place which became a burned field illegally after the war, and it occurred. Some of the shopping street has left the atmosphere and the building at that times. However, such a shopping street is disappearing. This research is directed to a Hanwa shopping street in front of the north exit of JR Tennoji Station, has studied the transition from the post-war. Hanwa shopping street is originate from the black market, which is one of the few shopping street that has left the atmosphere of the Showa era to the modern. Such shopping street is why remaining in the vicinity of the Terminal Station. I consider the question from the point of view of history and planar arrangement and urban planning of the shopping street.
