Abstract
In recent years, the management of urban parks has been promoted by the private sector. This study aims to clarify how to ensure the publicness and profitability of TEN-SHIBA, entrance area of Tennoji Park, based on the ideas of Osaka City and Kintetsu Real Estate regarding the publicness, profitability, and project evaluation. The results of the study revealed the three things. The first is that the emphasis on publicness rather than profitability. The Second is that the lawn area is maintained to ensure that a large number of users have a place to use it. The third is they are ensuring that the environment is accessible to everyone when selecting events and tenants. By improving the function of the park, it will improve its ability to attract visitors and sustainably park management. It is expected to revitalize to become a base of community by the park bustling.
