Location trends of parking lots in local cities and the actual conditions of garage parking lot conversion

A Case Study of Izumiotsu City, Osaka Prefecture

Abstract

With the development of the automobile society, many parking lots have been set up. In recent years, effective utilization of low unused land including these parking lots has become an issue. In this study, we grasped the total number of parking lots in Izumiotsu City, Osaka Prefecture and clarified the characteristics of the parking lots. When we surveyed the entire city, we found that the number of parking lots was characteristic of the type of parking lot and the location was characteristic of the restricted area. It turned out that there was a case of diversion in the rental garage of the parking lot. It turned out that there was a case of diversion in the rental garage of the parking lot.
