Abstract

The study aimed to clarify the way of space improvement and planting management on tree-lined sidewalk from the viewpoints of security and comfort considering children's perspective.As a result of analysis, we showed the importance of planting management that keeps the height of middle and shrubs below the height of children's perspective, and maintaining perspective by selecting tall trees with high branch heights.
