Synthesis of ZSM-11 was carried out from coloidal silica at 170 ℃ by using autoclave, under presence and absence of cerium oxide (CeO2). The objective of the study is to synthesize and to characterize the CeO2-ZSM-11 nanocomposite.The results indicated that ZSM-11 was formed after 2 days. The presence of CeO2 did not inhibit the formation of ZSM-11 and we considered that the CeO2-ZSM-11 nanocomposite was formed. The nanocomposite showed great ability for catalytic oxidation of VOCs.
