First water attached to soil surface as mono-layer, plant is unable to extract that water due to its strong attachment with the soil particle. With increase in humidity it changes to multi-layer and finally condensed in between the soil particles. Capilary moisture is susceptible to movement in the soil to a certain extent, may be adsorbed by plant roots.
