Faujasite type of zeolite (Na-X) was succesfully synthesized from paper sludge ash by adding water glass. The results indicated that crystallization was started from 1h and degree of the crystallization increased by increasing time. The synthesized faujasite was treated with CaCl2 (Ca2+) typeand NH4Cl (H+ type), and was subjected for toluene adsorption.
