1950年代半ばにおける「学生担当職」の研修に関する考察

—「厚生補導特別研究会」の開催経緯とその背景、実態を中心に—

In-service training programs are playing an increasingly important role in Japanese higher education. Relying on primary sources that was researched and collected in the US and Japan, this study examined the historical role of the Special Institute of Welfare and Guidance (Kosei- Hodo Tokubetsu Kenkyukai, 1955) for the academic and non-academic university staff of student affairs in the mid-1950s in Japan. Some previous studies have pointed out the actual situations of the Institute of Welfare and Guidance (Kosei-Hodo Kenkyukai, 1951-1952) before the Special Institute of Welfare and Guidance Therefore, in this study, I examined both the implementation process and the actual details and features of lectures and participants at the Special Institute of Welfare and Guidance As a result, the importance of analyzing the Special Institute of Welfare and Guidance and the new role of academic and non-academic university staff of student affairs in the mid-1950s in Japan are shown.
