While developing rolling technolgy, control systems and materials engineering, the steel industry has constructed many new rolling lines. To meet new requirents, rolling engineers and researchers worked hard to improve major operational indices such as productivity, quality, yield and energy saving. These efforts have brought forth superb fruits.
