A report of a typical Gardner's syndrome was presented with special reference to the skull roentgenographic findings.
The clinical manifestations of the disease were multiple polyposis of the large intestine, osteomatous appearance of the soft and hard tissues, and multiple epidermal cysts.
A fourth feature of the diseases (the appearance of multiple odontomas, impacted supernumerary and permanent teeth) has been noticed. The authors intend to stress that these dental findings are useful criteria to diagnose carriers of such hereditary diseases as Gardner's syndrome and familial polyposis.
