The authors reported the case of a 15 year old girl with hemangioma associated with phleboliths which were scattered throughout, involving tongue, buccal mucosa, and bilateral submandibular regions.
The roentogenographic examination could detect multiple radiopacities occupying widespread regions, which was difficult with inspection. Their radioopacities were different respectively; some of them revealed apparent lamination, and/or central dark areas.
A conservative success has been obtained with, radiation therapy by 6 meV linac electron beam, the packing method and the administration of a sclerosing agent (Sodium morrhuate).
