下顎骨に腫瘤形成をみた小児急性リンパ性白血病の1例

抄録

A case of acute lymphocytic leukemia, which formed a mandibular tumor during the remission, in a 12-year-old boy is presented in this paper.
A bulky mass with no ulcer was found in the right mandible, but common findings of the oral cavity in leukemia, such as gingival hemorrhage, gingival ulcer, and gingival swelling were not seen.
On the radiographic findings, a localized osteolysis was recognized at the tumor-formed region. As the other findings, disappearance of lamina dura, mandibular canal, and mental foramen were found. But root resorption was not seen.
A tumor-formation in leukemia is recently increasing, but its genesis is not well known. Though tumor due to leukemia appears at any part of the body, if tumor was seen in the oral cavity it must be differentiated from other tumorous lesions.
