Abstract
Blood pressure is considered a reliable indicator of stress in humans, however, traditional measurement techniques, such as cuff oscillometry and auscultation, only allow for intermittent measurement. In this study, we sought to implement a non-invasive and continuous method of measuring blood pressure during virtual reality gameplay, in order to obtain continuous blood pressure and circulatory dynamics data. Additionally, photoplethysmography was employed to simultaneously measure stress levels during gameplay.
