A Support System for Learning How to Defend Focusing on Positioning in Soccer Video Games

Abstract

In this paper, we propose a support system for learning how to play defense focusing on positioning in soccer video games. Beginners in soccer video games have difficulty maintaining the ideal positioning of a group of defensive characters while keeping track of the position of the opponent's characters. In this paper, we construct a learning support system that visualizes ideal positioning superimposed on the game screen with shapes and highlights attention areas show effectiveness of the system.
