A Study on Bus Route Appropriateness According to Bus Route Change

Abstract

This study would consider evaluation methodology for appropriateness of changed bus route. Currently carrying out on effectiveness analysis and effectiveness analysis method due to bus route change and system reform, most studies and reports analyze effects of reorganizing regional bus system on the whole district. But it would like to study on the perspective of the corresponding route's bus firms affected directly by actual bus route change, and the convenience of passengers using the corresponding route due to route change. With the use of bus card data, it could be analyzed the travel pattern and time changes of actual bus users affected by the changed route.
